Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum located on Jinger Road 36, Industry Park of Biotechnology, Xining City, Qinghai Province, covers a total area of 200 mu. The architectural area is 12,000 square meters. Completely built on May 1, 2007, Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum currently is the only comprehensive themed museum in the world to exhibit the culture of Tibet.

Tibetan culture has more than thousands of years of succession with plentiful documents and extensive content. Particularly, it is vividly featured with its medicine culture in the world. Due to the special geographic environment and human-made factor, some parts of medicine-making procedures and secrets and some rare cultural volumes together with some drawing techniques were lost and extinguished. Tibetan cultural museum plays the role of excavation, collection, protection, exhibition, research, teaching and popularization. Its establishment is beneficial for saving and protecting medicine culture.

Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum is national 4-A tourist destination. Currently, it has six exhibition halls comprised of Tibetan Medicine History, Medicine Techniques, Ancient Documentary, Sample of Tibet Medicine, Astronomy and Calculation as well as Color Pictures. Underground floor is a themed hall to show and sell the excellent artwork of Tibet. The completed halls in line with different features via the environment reappearance, Tangkar Sculpture, Cultural Relics Exhibition and Hi-Tech Model and so on to show the great side of Chinese Tibet Culture.
